How Do I Register My Child For Soccer?

MBSL Soccer programs have two season per year (Fall and Spring). Registration opens six week before the start of every season In January for Spring Season and August for the Fall Season. Dates and open registration announcements are posted on our website as soon as online and in-person registration is available. 

What is the Cost?

The cost of registration varies by age group and level of competition. Fees are usually announced and posted on flyers and website. MBSL fees tend to go up or down depending on the operating expenses for each season.

Does MBSL Offer Scholarships?

The league has a scholarship program for those qualifying families. Guidelines, information on how to apply and more details can be found here;  

How Many Practices and Games are there per week?

MBSL recreational and competitive program includes two practice per week. (Usually Monday and Wednesday)

Can I request that my child plays up?

Players in the recreational program are allowed to play up a maximum of two years depending on their soccer experience and at the coaches’ discretion, consent ,and approval.

What Equipment Do I Need?

Recreational players receive their complete uniform (Jersey, Shorts, and Socks) included with their registration fees. Parents will have to purchase cleats, shinguards, and any optional equipment separately from a local sports store, or online. Competitive League players must purchase their uniform from our local supplier (price varies by size)

What Do I Need to bring to practice?

Players are required to wear athletic apparel and cleats at all practice unless instructed by their coaches. Uniforms are not recommended to be worn at practices.
